一、贝利亚算法（Peoria）
在高尔夫计分方式里面，贝利亚算法是一个起源比较早比较原始的方法。
它的操作方法是，各从前九和后九抽出3个洞，即一共6个洞来计算差点，贝利亚要求所抽取的6个洞的标准杆的总和必须等于24杆。

最近似乎我又回来了解放前，因为每天的活都超级无敌多，怎么忙都忙不完，只好像忙解放一样奋战在办公室。

昨天休息了一天，今天回来加个班。上网看了一下关于前天“高球界5.12关于行动”的报道，突破了之前的吉尼斯世界纪录——最多球手在同一天参与高尔夫球比赛的纪录。

11号下午开始折腾打球人的名单，香港那边将总的名单传了过来，于是要折腾按不同球场和组别导入系统。由于怕出错，1200人的名单全部由一个人处理，结果到处理完了之后大脑差点缺氧。

之后和另两个同事就狂贴记分卡——又是1200张的工程，然后是车仔纸，8个球场的球车安排，连同名字和开球洞号——大脑再次缺氧。11点忙完了之后大家才发现——没吃晚饭！

12号早上七点多到达办公室，因为1200人的签到和球包处理都在东莞，那边已经开始运作开了。我留在深圳。

球僮球车都已经安排就绪。十点左右东莞同事来电说那边下大暴雨，问这边情况怎么样。我说只是有点闷没下雨。后来一直到最后赛事完成了深圳这边一直没下雨，所以活动还是挺顺利的。

“高球界5.12关于行动2009”总共募集了超过1000万元的善款，捐献给福幼基金会，用于四川江油市大康镇的重建工作。

高尔夫读者博客建博快一年了，期间只发布了167篇日志，因为工作的原因，更新总是断断续续的，休假的时候只想着休息也几乎不更新。

这个博客让我认识了一些朋友，包括有做媒体的和在校的，还有高尔夫球场管理的。有时候在线和他们聊聊觉得收获挺多。阿Joe建博之时，身边很多朋友也投身到网赚的行列中来，有没有赚到就不是很清楚，但一年过去了，只有少数几个人仍在坚持。高尔夫读者当然没有赚到广告费，但却获得了许多别的。 (more…)

因为很久没有写过关于高尔夫经济方面的数据的文章，很久都没有登录过美国高尔夫球基金会NGF（http://ngf.org）的网站。

最近在整理一些数据的时候，需要用到近期一些关于美国高尔夫球场一些打球人次方面的资料，才上了网站看看。竟然发现NGF竟然把原来一些可以免费下载的数据的通道也被关闭了。

A competition cannot be played until the Committee decides on the format.

b. Stroke Play

If the competition is to be played at stroke play, the Committee must decide on the form of play, how many rounds are to be played and if more than one round is involved, whether the field is to be reduced at some point, whether the field is to be broken down into classes and whether the competition is to be at scratch or on a handicap basis.

a. Match Play

If the Committee wishes to conduct a match play competition, it must decide on the form of play, (i.e., singles, foursome or fourball), the number of flights, the number of players or sides in each flight, how the players or teams in each flight are to be determined, the pairing method for each flight and whether the competition is to be at scratch or on a handicap basis.

Q. It is the condition of a stroke-play competition (e.g., four-ball) that players will not receive their full handicap allowances. Under Rule 6-2b, what is the player responsible for recording on his score card?
